Iyengar Yoga

Many are confused by the seemingly endless styles of Yoga. Iyengar Yoga can be viewed as the foundation of all of them. In this style, we spend time becoming familiar and then moving deeper into each "asana" or pose. We begin by learning the outside movements, and then as we are ready, we gradually move to the internal movement, space and balance of the body. From there, the asana can become a meditation, as we connect the mind, body and spirit.
